ABOUT US

Terästorni was founded 1968 by the family Vilhu. Over the years Terästorni grew along with new customers and during the 1990’s company made its first export projects. 2008 Viafin Oy, a new industrial company with private equity background, acquired the business and operations of Terästorni and the company name was changed to Viafin Terästorni. 2019 the management of Terästorni acquired Terästorni from Viafin after which Terästorni is again independent company owned by its management and key personnel. The company name was changed back to Terästorni Oy.

Today Terästorni is an industrial company with deliveries all over the world. Annual revenue is around 20m€. The company has over 50 employees in Lappeenranta, Eastern Finland.

PRODUCTS AND SERVICES

The core of our operations are the large pressure vessels and storage tanks such as digesters, reactors, pulp towers and storage tanks especially to pulp and paper industries. Terästorni designs the products according to customers specifications. Our delivery usually contains structural calculation, design, manufacturing, logistic and installation services.

As a result of long experience combined with continues development, Terästorni is today a globally unique partner of pulp and paper industry in its field of expertise. The secrect behind Terästorni's knowledge is the in-depth understanding of the delivery process from design to installation. Our skilled engineering team optimizes the content of every product delivery and therefore we are able to offer the most suitable solution for each need. DIGESTERS AND REACTORS

We offer world's largest continuous cooking digesters and reactors to pulp and paper industries. The delivery sizes of the products are always optimized taking into account the logistics and installation.

PULP TOWERS

We are globally the leading supplier of pulp towers of which largest sizing 15 000m³. Terästorni has produced the world's most demanding pulp towers and we have expertise especially from the seismic areas.
